From the summit of Jungfraujoch, gaze at the otherworldly Aletsch Glacier, the longest frozen river in Europe and the largest in the Alps. Ancient and beautiful, the glacier stretches for 14 miles, winding around immense mountains. Walking tours are available for those who wish to explore this natural wonder.

One of the highest astronomical observatories in the world, the Sphinx Observatory conducts research in astronomy, meteorology and air quality. Though not open to the public, the building features a 360-degree observation terrace, allowing visitors to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the winter wonderland.
